Review: Revlon Straightener + Jemma Kidd Lip Colour

Target debuts their new beauty essentials for the 2012 Fall season and I was able to try their new “IT” item Revlon’s new hair straightener.  The look  dazzles in leopard, heat’s up to a max of 30 and is simple to achieve a sleek straight look in minutes. Plus the new 24/7 Lip Colour from Jemma Kidd in Monroe is a deep red that get’s you notice and it comes in various shades for a fierce beauty look.

Review: Jemma Kidd On Location and Air Kiss Gloss

Jemma Kidd’s Spring Collection get them at Target for $16-$21. The On Location Dare To Bare is set with a concealer, shimmer shadows, a frost pink lip and a gorgeous rosy pink blush. Overall it’s a great nude palette that works with all skin tones. The shadows are very shimmery BUT I would have loved for there to be two satin shadows instead of glitzy, glitzy. The Air Kiss Gloss in Work It is a great everyday color so rock it daily and be beautiful.

Beauty: Face Of The Day

Bold beauty statements aren’t just about the eye shadows bright theme but it can be just as simple as a bold pout! Check out my beauty look and what products rocked this look!

 

Products Used

It Cosmetics Concealer in Deep $24 I used as a foundation, it comes off a bit shiny but works great as a foundation.

Yagolicious palette is from a older season I actually used their bronzed eye shadow as a blush for a glowing effect. Yagolicious has new beauty line check them out here.

Jemma Kidd Smoke It Up Kit $22 is great for a smoky eye look, I used the black on the lower lids, the light bronze in the crease and the pale white in the brow bone. Love the palette because you can achieve a smoky look with all five shades. My lips were burning hot with Elizabeth Arden lipstick in Rouge $22.50 its so rich in red and dramatic, great color for the season.

GlitterBuzzStyle: Face Of The Day

 

This Face Of The Day was all about being natural on a hot day. Makeup gives us all that look of a flawless beauty but we all have a natural beauty that makes us unique. Sometimes too much makeup can take that unique quality away so don’t be afraid to keep things simple, you will still look FABULOUS!

 

I only rocked a bronzer for this look and I felt gorgeous and confident plus it was so simple I was done with my look in a flash!

 

Physicians Formula Sunset Strips is a great palette for giving you an all in one look. So I applied the top golden shade on my lower lids to bring out the eyes for that awaken look. I went down to the darkest bronze last shade and added that in the creases for a bit of boldness. I ended the brow bone with the middle bronzer that has that copper effect.

I applied my Jemma Kidd Mascara because her brand rocks in bringing out the lashes!

  

 

For the cheeks I just took a brush and swirled it around the whole palette and allowed for it to blend all the shades together for a great golden glow. The shades are buildable so do start soft until you get the right glow for your skin’s shade.

 

For my lips you know I had my Revlon ColorBursts in Hot Pink ready to go, I am so in love with this shade, it’s so luscious.

So I was able to achieve an amazing look with these few beauty items, now go out and do the same chicas!

ITEMS USED

MAC Select SPF Foundation

LORAC Eye Shadow, Yagolicious Eye Shadow, e.l.f Eye Duo, Clinique Mascara, Jaguar Luxury Eye Liner, Jemma Kidd In Vogue 5th Ave (not shown : (  )

 On the lower lids I rocked Lorac Croc Palette, with this bronze shimmer it’s a great shade for bringing attention to the eyes. I love to use it for a simple look as well. I used Yagolicious light lilac shade in the middle crease section.

I wanted to make more of a statement with the eyes so I added Jaguar Luxury in plum to line the eyes. Than I also lined the eyes on the bottom with the Lorac shade that I used on the lower lids.

I also used e.l.f Sugar Cookie in the brow bone to lighten the look a bit ( tan only) and I also went back to extend the eye shadow so it gave all the shades a bolder effect.

To give my lashes that volume I started back to my Clinique high impact mascara because they make the lashes beautiful.

      My lips were lovely thanks to a flea market brand in Queens. The color is gorgeous with a great sheen on the texture.

    This beauty look was all about bringing out the pink elements that look fabulous on a woman.

To start I used Olay Daily Moisturizer  and than I used a simple mark. Tint Moisturizer without any foundation because it’s very light weight and it also has SPF 15    I used e.l.f Brighten Eye Color in Drama I used the dark silver to draw attention to the eyes and topped it off with the intense white at the brow bone. For the crease I rocked Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow & Liner, Smoky Collection

and I stuck with the fuchsia shade in the middle.    For mascara I used my lovely Jemma Kidd Ultra-Plush Volumizing Mascara  because it has a nice look and I knew it would make a blow. Keeping Jemma Kidd in the mix I had to add the In Vogue Perfect Blush in Rodeo Drive because it’s fire and it makes statements.    To add to the final look I adore my Revlon Colorburst in Hot Pink!
