GlitterBuzzStyle: Outfit Of The Day

 

Well this look was from my Saturday night out 5/21/11 at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City. It was the day that some say the world was coming to an end, thank god everything was cool after 6 pm and I was able to have a fabulous dinner and cocktails ( hope you all caught my tweets that night ; )

 

 

DRESS: Fredericks of Hollywood. I’ve only worn this dress 3x and I love the nude effect. I am not a huge fan of halter dresses but I figured it was time to rock one! I have that bronzer on lock. (Elizabeth Arden)

CLUTCH: New York + Company I don’t own a nude clutch so I figured I would shimmer it out since it was after 9 pm and the best way to do that is sparkles ladies!

SHOES: BCBG At first I was going to rock black pumps but that would be too easy so nude was my going with a fresh pop.

NECKLACE: JC Penny You can’t rock a tube dress or low cut look without something extra on the neckline, so my crystal beads had to work well for some glitz and

  EARRINGS: CZ Studs Avon I love these earrings they look expensive but I only paid $3.99 and I racked up as well. I wear them all the time because they look so good can’t believe they were so cheap, got to love a bargain!

My basic day look was all about me being natural and wearing not much makeup, I was on a mini vacay and being glamorous every second was not my focus. I do it daily and I needed a break and a natural look sometimes can still be FABULOUS so do it more often your skin will love you!

So one of my beauty looks for a night in Atlantic city was rocking products that were fun and playful. I of course used Lorac, Yagolicious, Avon, Nars, M.A.C, L.A Colors and e.l.f. The Yagolicious eye shadow was hot, love the colors and bold effect.

Yagolicious eye palette is called Paint Quads and the other kit is the Face Clutch from the new fall collection. I also used Avon extended mascara on my eyes and e.l.f liquid liner. Forgot to mention since I was running late for my dinner reservations!

Inside my Saturday night look. Also if you notice on the side my makeup isn’t fully covered, I ran out of my M.AC and I added a bit of water to the foundation so I was missing sections of full foundation. Never wait until the last minute to buy foundation because this will happen. Thank god for dim lighting, lol!

ADVANCE TECHNIQUES Frizz Control Lotus Shield

While on vacay I let my hair stay curly because the heat has a way of making our hair look a hot mess at times.

I used Avon's Advance Techniques for about 2-3 days and was very please that it didn't make my hair frizz from the constant humidity. It kept my hair texture soft and the strands in place which is very ideal this time of year. I have yet to try it after a blow out but I am convince that it will still live up to the standards.

The retail price is $12.99 but it's currently on sale for $9.99, if you have major issues with frizz it's worth the try it did an excellent job maintaining my hair.

Inspired by the lotus leaf plant, Lotus Shield adds a "waterproof" layer to the hair, actually repelling moisture, performing in upwards to 97% humidity .

I tried the glazewear shine and sparkle glosses and they give lips that luscious factor. The shine has a metallic frost to it not just your basic glossy overdone gloss.
