Backstage Nails: NYFW Monse FW'17

I loved the nail look for Monse FW'17 collection it looks so easy to incorporate and beyond stylish! Rita Remark, essie Global Lead Educator is the creator of this gorgeous style. Her inspiration comes from the vertical or falling stripes throughout Monse's collection.

To get the same look as the models follow these nail tips below!

Use Grow Stonger base coat
Next apply Licorice to all your nails except the pink finger
Use a striping brush (or painters tape) to paint half of the ring finger with No Place Like Chrome and half with shade Licorice for a panel nail look

Backstage Nails: NYFW Jonathan Simkhai FW'16

The nail look varies on the models, it was a combination of a few of my go to shades from the brand. It was neutral with a twist of navy and some edge. You can play up the look in many fun options to make a statement.

Runway inspiration:

Warm cozy knits in shades of navy, light blue, white, beige and ivory are featured prominently in Jonathan Simkhai’s Fall/Winter 2016 runway show. To carry this sentiment through to the nails, Rita Remark for essie chose coordinating shades find me an oasis, wrap me up, all eyes on nudes, marshmallow and midnight cami on nails. To enhance the cozy feeling she applied matte about you, and then used gel.setter top coat to create a textured cable knit sweater design as an accent on the middle and ring fingers.

Backstage Nails: NYFW Wes Gordon FW'16

It's all about the glitter effect, sparkles make any outfit standout! When in doubt ladies sparkle it out!

Runway inspiration:

Wes Gordon’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection is inspired by "downtown romantics and effortless elegance," and is a celebration of the designer’s favorite things, pieces, techniques and ideas. To pair with the black, white and grey hues, Rita Remark for essie created a nail look that mimicked broken glass by layering set in stones over hors d'oeuvres.
