PERFORMANCES AT BET AWARDS


Rihanna sang her new hit Take a Bow, she has improved on her singing you can hear it in some of her notes. She didn't do anything special but her outfit was once again hot so that was enough for me.

Keyshia Cole performance was a bit shaky but she pulled through. She looked beautiful singing her hit Heaven Sent. The crowd was even more excited when she mixed in her song Let It Go and than Lil Kim came out. Wow! I was shocked to see how different Lil Kim looked she put on some weight in all the right places but she looked different to me. And I like black hair on Kim the blonde isn't working!

I thought Beyonce and Usher were set to performed with Usher but it never happened!!

Usher did his thing it was good to see him back on the stage and do what he does. He did an amazing job and I was impressed that he still had it. The performance was great full of excitement.

Ne-yo to me did an amazing job last night. He was on top of his game all the way. It wasn't the same routine that I was expecting, he put on a show and I was surprise when I saw the crowd standing up at the end. He did a classic performance that was better than the pros!

Chris Brown what can I say as soon as Ciara came out the performance was HOT! Ciara and Chris did their thing lastnight. As cameras kept switching to Rihanna face to get a reaction but she was all smiles. Ciara was grinding all over Chris and let's just say I was getting pissed for Rihanna just a little bit! Ciara proved that she is a dancer and hyped up Chris's performance even more because at first it was a bit dull.

Alicia Keyes brought it back to the old days with the Hottest Girl groups on stage with her singing their hits as well. I was surprised that SWV, EnVogue and TLC were in the building. It was exciting to hear them sing together and better yet be on stage with superstar Alicia. I wonder if these groups will be making a comeback?

Nicole Richie is wearing a floral Dries Van Noten Spring 2008. The neckline is very unique and is my favorite part of the dress.

Now I know Rhianna's outfit was already discussed in a previous post, but I have to give my take on it. If you didn't notice Rihanna is dripping in a jewels, from her tiara, two rings, diamond stud earrings, a diamond dome ring, and a silk bracelet. I am so jealous of her fashion style lately I've trying to imitate but make it my own style of course. If I'm not mistaken she wore The a strapless bubble mini PPQ spring 2008 dress, and a pair of the new Christian Louboutin Trottinette ankle boots.

Okay Britney Snow, I like the way she was thinking when she put this outfit together. I love Brittany Snow's skirt is definitely what I adore, although I wish she had worn something different on top, but I must admit the navy sweater does work a bit.

It's all about the shoes that makes this dress hot. Jimmy Choo gladiator heels, life doesn't get any better then that.

Hilary Duff did it up with a simple blue dress and black all around strap heels. Eye makeup was great!

Ashanti in that white dress was killing the fellas she has been looking really in shape these days.

Why does Janet Jackson seem to keep wearing black so much? I'm really getting annoyed by this is she ashamed of her figure because she has an amazing body!

Besides the color and the designers that were chosen for the celebs my favorite dresses wore worn by Jennifer Hudson, Katherine Heigl and Marion Cotillard. Jennifer's dress is a much better choice than she wore last year and we all know that was her year. I think the dress complements her body.

Katherine looked beautiful from head to toe and that clutch is fab!!!!!

Marion's dress was gorgeous she looked so good last night. I want and absolutely love that dress. Is it me or does she kind of reminds you of Kate Hudson??

OSCAR's GO RED!!!!!!!!!!!

So last night was the Academy Awards and the color red was the popular trend on the celebs. Why red because it’s bold, daring and it states power.

Anne Hathaway, Heidi Klum and Miley Cyrus were the talk of the town not so much for their dresses but for the color choice. I love Heidi Klum dress and I wished she would have eliminated the shrug because it loses focus on the dress.

Anne's dress is so delicate and pure looking she looks like an angel, Miley looks cute, fresh and young in her dress, this girl is every where!!

Tonight is the 80th annual academy awards for outstanding film achievements of 2007. The celebrities will be in Hollywood at the Kodak Theatre and we will be watching for all the red carpet trends and report them to you tomorrow. Forget the nominations everyone wants to see what the people are wearing!
