Beauty: The Trends At The Oscars
Celebrity makeup artists Georgie Eisdell and Mai Quynh used Nars beauty products to create the makeup looks for Rose Byrne and Ginnifer Goodwin at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Ginnifer’s beauty look was all about the blue trend to transition with her sequin dress.
Beauty Inspiration: "I wanted to do something fun and colorful with Ginnifer's makeup, because of her sparkly cobalt blue dress, so we played up the eyes in a way that wasn't too matchy. She loves focusing on the eyes, so everyone was happy!"
Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Abbey Road $24
Rose Byrne looked extra glam in a white dress and her makeup look remained natural with a splash of pop.
Beauty Inspiration: "The structure of Rose's white Lanvin gown with its elegant open back called for a strong, vivid color on her lips. I wanted her look to be structured, keeping her skin clean and contoured, with a defined brow, lashes, and a bold lip."

Face
”For Aubrey’s face, I began by applying
mark Matte Chance Mattifying Lotion, which is great for combination to oily skin. I followed by applying mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Honey with the mark Foundation Brush. Next, I dabbed mark Good Riddance Hook up Concealer in Light/Medium around her nose and under her eyes to even out her skin tone. This is one of my favorite concealers because of the way it melts into the skin and blends easily. Next, I set her foundation with mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation to provide enough coverage to combat the hot weather and dusted mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Pro Golden to her forehead, cheeks, and chin. I finished her face with a dusting of mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Star Glo along her cheekbones with the mark Angled Contour Face Brush.”Eyes

Actress Marley Shelton made her mark on the red carpet of the Untitled premiere as did “Ugly Betty” star, Becki Newton at Elle’s 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute. mark celebrity makeup artists Mai Quynh and Jamie Greenberg explain how they created Marley and Becki’s stunning red carpet looks.
Jamie Greenberg Explains How to Get Becki’s Red Carpet look:

Eyes
“Becki loves to try new things and for this look she was really feeling Grace Kelly with some street appeal! First, I applied mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Golden under Becki’s eyes and the lightest shade from mark Super Flip Color Kit in the corner and along the top of the lid to really make her eyes look bright. I then blended I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Cake into the crease and the dark grey shade from mark Super Flip Color Kit in the corner of the eyes. To enhance her eye color, I applied mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Jet, smudging all along the lower lash line. Finally I applied one coat of mark Make it Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven and topped it with one coat of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black to set the lashes and prevent any flaking.”
Face
“I applied mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Honey and set just the T-zone area with mark Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder in Golden Honey to prevent any unnecessary shine. I also applied mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush Custom Color Palette in Hush Baby right above Becki’s cheeks to give a fresh highlight. I finished her cheeks by smudging mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Nude and Cheeky right on the apples of her cheeks, carefully blending up to her hair line.”
Lips
“To finish off her look, I used mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicious Lip Color in Mist on her lips, with a light coating of mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine in Swell.”

Mai Quynh Explains How She Created Marley’s Red Carpet look:
Eyes
“Marley was wearing a deep navy dress by Tibi, so I wanted to give her a complimentary sexy, smoky eye to go with it. I swept on I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Night Owl layered with Corset from the lash line to the crease. I then blended the shadows upwards towards her brows. For a little extra drama, I lined the inner rim of her eyes with mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Jet and then smudged I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Corset and Night Owl along the lower lash line. Finally, I used two coats of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black.”
Face
“I used mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Golden to even out her skin tone, dabbing mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Light/Medium around her nose and under her eyes. I set her foundation with mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation in Honey and then dusted mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Pro Golden to her cheeks, chin and forehead to bring out her natural glow.”
Lips
“Because I wanted to keep the emphasis on Marley’s dark, smoked out eyes, I kept her lips a more subtle shade by using mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicious Lip Color in Skinny Dip.”
