Beauty: The Trends At The Oscars

Celebrity makeup artists Georgie Eisdell and Mai Quynh used Nars beauty products to create the makeup looks for Rose Byrne and Ginnifer Goodwin at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

 Ginnifer’s beauty look was all about the blue trend to transition with her sequin dress.

Beauty Inspiration: "I wanted to do something fun and colorful with Ginnifer's makeup, because of her sparkly cobalt blue dress, so we played up the eyes in a way that wasn't too matchy. She loves focusing on the eyes, so everyone was happy!"

Next, I applied a top coat of mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Gioia into the crease and smudged up to her brow bone. Next, I lined both her upper and bottom lashline with mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Java using the mark Flat Eyeliner Brush. To add an extra hint of drama, I lined her inner lids with mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Jet and finished with two coats of mark Make It Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven.”

“I prepped Lucy’s face by applying mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Golden with the mark Foundation Brush to even out her skin tone. Next, I dabbed mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Light/Medium under her eyes, blending it in with the mark Concealer Brush. For her cheeks, I used the mark Foundation Brush to apply mark Just Pinched Instant Blush in Peachy to the apples of her cheeks. I then dusted a light coating of mark Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder to eliminate any excess shine in her t-zone. Face

”For Aubrey’s face, I began by applying mark Matte Chance Mattifying Lotion, which is great for combination to oily skin. I followed by applying mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Honey with the mark Foundation Brush. Next, I dabbed mark Good Riddance Hook up Concealer in Light/Medium around her nose and under her eyes to even out her skin tone. This is one of my favorite concealers because of the way it melts into the skin and blends easily. Next, I set her foundation with mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation to provide enough coverage to combat the hot weather and dusted mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Pro Golden to her forehead, cheeks, and chin. I finished her face with a dusting of mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Star Glo along her cheekbones with the mark Angled Contour Face Brush.”

“I prepped Aubrey’s eyes by applying mark Please Hold Eye Primer in Light/Medium. I then used the mark All Over Eye Shadow Brush to apply mark I-mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Biscotti blended with Tiki all across her eyelid. Using the mark Angled Contour Eyeshadow Brush, I smudged Espresso into the crease of her eyelid and Tiki along her bottom lash line. To finish her eyes, I applied two coats of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black.”

This concealer melts into the skin, so it's easy to blend. Next, I set her foundation with mark Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder in Golden Honey using the mark Powder Brush. Ashley has great skin, so I chose this powder because it has sheer to light coverage. For her cheeks, I dusted mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush Custom Color Palette in Golden Glo using the mark Angled Contour Brush.

“I prepped Ashley’s eyes by applying mark Please Hold Eye Primer in Light/Medium. Next, I applied mark I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Biscotti to her inner eyelid and Magic to her whole eyelid, blending it outward. Then, using the mark Angled Contour Eyeshadow Brush, I blended the mark I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Gioia into the crease. Next, I used the mark Flat Eyeliner Brush to apply the mark Keep it Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Entourage along her top lashes. These duos are great because they stay on all night! Lastly, I smudged mark I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Gioia along her bottom lash line, then applied two coats of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black.“

Blending Brush, I blended the shadow upwards towards the brows. Then, I applied mark. I-mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Biscotti to the inner corner of the eye as a highlighter, using the mark. Hook Up Eyeliner Brush. I then lined the inner rim of her eyes with mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Java, smudging Tiki underneath along the lower lashes with the mark. Hook Up Eyeliner Brush. I then blended I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Cake into the crease and the dark grey shade from mark Super Flip Color Kit in the corner of the eyes. To enhance her eye color, I applied mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Jet, smudging all along the lower lash line.
