When it comes to primers I can honestly say I don’t use, I don’t feel there’s truly a need for it for my skin. I know primer is to help keep your makeup in place and last longer. But I use only It Cosmetics foundation and I wear it alone and my makeup is always stays in place. (I did use it for this tutorial).

Moving forward to their Matte foundation. Lightweight, easy for those extreme hot days, isn’t cakey, looks natural and is full coverage. They have a ton of great foundation products this one is great but my personal favorite is their Airbrush foundation I wear it often and it’s also a matte but in a powered form and it’s FABULOUS!!

Their Brow Power products have expanded. It’s simple if you are looking for an everyday look, it’s not heavy or overly dramatic. If you like a natural vibe this is ideal.
The price point for the products are great because it’s makeup and skincare combined in one so you get all of the extra benefits that allow for healthy skin!

Bold Lips with Maybelline Matte Metallics

Let's get excited for the new shades from Maybelline's Color Sensational Matte Metallic Lipsticks! I love metallic textures so when I was given the chance to try their new shades I was in for sure. Now my first thought were most of the shades were very bold and daring and not wearable for every day beauty looks. Depending on your lifestyle, your career and comfort zone you can find at least two that will be a winner!

I wasn't sent this shade but they also have Silk Stone (Champagne shade).

The lipstick textures are very soft, they glide on and they look beautiful for night out looks. The only real shades that I would personally rock would be Hot Lava, Copper Rose and Copper Spark it suits my style more and makes me feel super confident. A Boss Liquid Matte Lipstick: Puckerd Cosmetics

Yes to finding another Matte Lipstick that rocks! Puckerd Cosmetics sent me their Liquid Matte Lipstick (Mulbery) as well as the Hydra Gloss (Afterglow). The gloss reminded me of MAC's Lipglass without the intense shine. The shimmer was there better not over done which I wish it were a bit more dramatic. The shade Afterglow I used it a few times on top of the Mulberry for more effect. It blended well together and gave me that extra fabulous highlight on my lips. Unfortunately I can't find where I put it so please excuse the non photo of that product.

My absolute favorite is their Liquid Matte Lipstick it is awesome. The brush application is great to line the lips so smooth, the shade is gorgeous and the texture doesn't chap. The color stays and looks beautiful. I loved it so much I rocked it for every fashion week show I attended. I would love to try more shades from the brand especially another shade in the Hydrating Gloss.

Is it worth the splurge of $15, yes because you will probably rock it everyday like me. And for me that's worth buying!

The Lip Bar Matte Liquid Lipstick

 While at The Makeup Show in NYC a few weeks ago I made it my business to find the brand The Lip Bar. I was interested in knowing more about the brand, talking with the owner and getting my hands on one of their matte shades. With the hustle of the two days at The Makeup Show a lot of their shades I wanted to try were sold out. That means that they have a curious or true fan base. And now was my turn to try and see what makes The Lip Bar so hot!

I purchased the shade As If suggested by the owner and yes I have rocked it for 4 days straight so I think it's a win for me. Check out the full beauty buzz on the product and the brand and stay tuned for my interview with the owner at The Makeup Show as well.

Pros: Very pigmented, price point good, great for day time, looks feminine and flirty.
Cons: Too much product comes out of tube, color wears off after a few hours.

Hard Candy Spring Collection & Giveaway

Hard Candy cosmetics launched some great spring items and of course every women can rock the brand because their prices are super affordable! I enjoy trying out the new spring products it gets me excited for the start of some warm weather that is much needed here on the east coast!
