While attending The Makeup Show in NYC I picked up some goodies from NYX Cosmetics. I love the brand a lot because the colors are fabulous and the price range is always affordable. The Conceal Palette $12 has always been a favorite of mine since it has many options for customizing beauty looks, the Jumbo Eye Pencils $4.50 never disappoints and I always love getting their lipsticks (Lip Lingerie $7).

Beauty Buzz + Giveaway NYX Cosmetics

 

We love a good bargain when it comes to our beauty products and we also love a great product. NYX Cosmetics is budget friendly brand with quality results. This made them a statement maker as they debuted for the first time at The Makeup Show in NYC. The brand showcased a few signature products that I have tried and I want to share the beauty buzz with you. I was able to dabble in the

Prismatic Shadow in shade Frostbite (I love the shimmer sparkle it gives on my eyes),

 

High Voltage Lipstick in shade Twisted, Tres Jolie Gel Pencil Liner in shade Brown, the Micro Brow Pencil shade Brown and my favorite is the Conceal, Correct or Contour palettes this one is shade Deep.

 

 

My favorite lipstick from them right now is a

Soft Matte Lip Cream in shade Copenhagen its so sexy I'm so in love.

Beauty Buzz: Glitter Liners That Pop!

 

 

 

 

 

If you aren't a huge glitter fan it's time to get out of your comfort zone and be a bit daring for once. Glitter beauty looks are a way to bring that extra glitz to your makeup style. A simple line with just the right sparks adds magic to the eyes. Below are a few beauty products to get you on to your shimmer addiction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Liquid Crystal Liner

These come in great spring shades for adding color to a basic look or you can rock the neutral shades for a glamorous look at night.

Long-Wear Gel Sparkle

I love all the shades of these gel sparkles, it's more versatile for every day and weekend play. My favorites are Midnight Frost, Sunlit Bronze and I adore Smokey Topaz looks like a goddess color!

 

Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner

For you glitter lovers these should be on your beauty buy list. These give eyes more than just glitz it adds a pieces of art with a 3D-effect. Perfect for the trendsetter who loves a bad ass beauty look.

 

Diamond Liquid Liner

I love these liners, very pigmented in color and the applicator is so easy to apply. The best shade is Sapphire the color is a gorgeous blue but adds just the right pop for a smokey eye or even just a nude style.

 

Glitter Liner

These are budget friendly under $3 and are a great starter for getting into the glitter liner mix. Try to go for a shade that you would wear and one that is over the top. Have fun with it an twirl that wand away.

I love the NYX brand so I was super excited to check out this 6-piece collection from HSN for $20 which could be paid in Flex Pay for 2 payments of $10. Unfortunately this product wasn't that fabulous as I thought. Get the buzz on the two shades I did like, what shade made my lips look ashy and why I decided to return this collection.
