Fall Shoe Trends: Ankle + T-Straps

A great pair of heels to own for a classic chic vibe is always a ankle/t-strap style. Most styles offer that great 9 to 5 look, it works well with a well fitted dress and some styles add a bit of edginess as well. I scooped up these black suede Mia shoes at Loehmann’s, with my membership it only cost me $30! You can pair it with a simple bold black stone necklace or add of touch of metallic.

Below are a few fall trends that are making it’s way in the front row….

Bucka - Blush
Privileged $79.99

If you love gold chains this might be a bit of rockstar glam for you, pair it also with a matching necklace to keep that rough vibe going. This heel would also stand out in a taupe or champagne dress.

Blandon - Black
Shoe Republic $49.99

For those who love to add a bit more to your basic all black look the clear style is in demand for sure. You can wear it with black trousers, black and white styles and also a clear chain clutch.

Topshop 'Goslin' PumpTopshop 'Goslin' Pump

Topshop Goslin' Pump $136

For those that still like to bring color forward for the fall season this style gives a big splash to a sheath dress. Add those gold charms bracelets, fab pearls and a well structure tote.

Isa Tapia Pointed Toe Pumps - Peggy Ankle Strap High Heel

$595.00

I love kitten heels as long as the style is very fashionable. These bring a strong fashion sense with comfort all the way for a day into night look. Bring more confidence to the look with a white blouse that’s sheer and a massive multi-layered necklace.

Tom Ford

Zebra-Print Pin-Detail Ankle-Strap Sandal $1250

Animal prints get bolder when your style is all over fierce, all you need is one set color to bring it all together and one amazing signature accessory (cocktail ring on pinky).

The ankle strap style has always been my absolute favorite look in a dress shoe. It was what I always gravitated towards when shopping for that special pair of heels. I had once read that ankle straps are not the best way to go if you are short, which I am. I'm only 5 feet tall. So I started to steer away from them but I realized I should go with what makes me feel good and confident and so I still rock my ankle strap styles proudly. The Tom Ford heels....gorgeous!!!
