Hi GlitterBuzzStyle readers! I am Melissa Burwell, owner of www.neondiamonds.com
Thanks to Chastity I attended New York Fashion Week. It was my first time experiencing an event at this level and it was exciting! When I first arrived to Lincoln center, I was in amazement. Everyone was really dressed to impress for the fashion lover it was a site to see. Backstage was not as glamorous as everyone would assume. Makeup artists, hair stylists, and nail technicians were busy trying to accomplish the look for Maisonette 1977. While waiting for designer Jane Ibrahim, I decided to take a couple of photos, introduce myself to lead makeup artist Kate Squires and Zoya representative Erin Giddings.

Jane was very sweet, she had a beautiful personality. Surprisingly she held her first time at New York Fashion week very well.

The Presentation
The presentation was fun to view. A live DJ was playing upbeat music to keep things interesting.

All in all, I had a great time. One tip when attending New York Fashion Week is to be prepared, wear comfortable clothing, make sure to eat a big meal, and soak all the fashion in. I would suggest anyone try to experience NYFW. Follow me @melxneondiamond
