Maybelline New York Brings the Catwalk to the Sidewalk on Fashion’s Night Out!

The Maybelline New York hot spot will set up in the Meatpacking District at 9th Avenue and 13th Street on Fashion’s Night Out. Makeovers? Check. Models? Check. Free products and fashionable prizes? Music, celebrities, designers? Check, check, check – we will have it all!

§ The first 50 guests to arrive will receive a limited edition makeup bag filled with cosmetics created especially for Maybelline New York by fashion designer Michael Angel.

§ Top Maybelline New York makeup artists will provide free mini-makeovers using the brand’s latest, straight-from-the-runway products.

§ Guests who receive makeovers will be invited to walk the mini-catwalk in a “Sensational Strut” contest, for a chance to win a year’s supply of Maybelline New York makeup and other fashionable prizes.

§ Brand spokesmodels including Emily DiDonato, Jessica White and Lisalla Montenegro will be on hand to judge the “Sensational Strut” contest, provide tips and sign autographs.

"Motorcycle Bustier" - Patrice Stable

Thierry Mugler invites you to Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC during Fashion's Night Out on September 10th from 6-11pm to view the famous Motorcycle Bustier as worn by Beyoncé for her I AM.Sasha Fierce album. This legendary couture piece was first shown in the designer's Prêt-á-Porter Spring/Summer 1992 Collection, worn by model Niki Taylor. The same year, it appeared in George Michael's iconic fashion-centric, supermodel-filled, music video for his hit song "Too Funky." In 2008 the Motorcycle Bustier was selected for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute's "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy" exhibit in New York . It was here that Beyoncé fell in love with the piece and Thierry Mugler.

Conair will be promoting their latest Infiniti Pro by Conair Dryer at VANDERBUILT HALL by offering to the public complimentary hair consultations, demonstrations, and discounts at the event. The Conair Beauty Patrol will be taping confessions of “worst hair days” and giving each participant a ticket providing her or him with a summons to view their video confession online at
Conair will select the top 5 videos and ask online visitors to vote for their favorite. The full event is from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. September 8th and 9th, and 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on September 10th.

Newly appointed NARS National Makeup Artist Francelle Daly will make her first personal appearance for the brand at Saks Fifth Avenue. From 8-9pm, Francelle and a team of NARS makeup artists will be advising customers on how to achieve bold lips inspired by a range of influences including the Fashion Week and Red Carpet celebrity looks.

PHILLIP LIM - 115 Mercer Street
Francelle will also use Pure Matte Lipstick to create the makeup look for musician Gretta Rochelle of the band My Gold Mask, who is performing at the 3.1 phillip lim store block party in SoHo. 100 attendees will receive NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in the 3.1 phillip lim gift bag.

VINCE - 16 Prince Street

Pure Matte Lipstick was used by NARS International Lead Artist James Boehmer to create the makeup look in fashion brand Vince’s Fall / Holiday 2010 campaign and video. He created a feminine, powerful yet classic makeup look for the campaign which will be showcased at Vince’s Prince Street store. 50 customers will receive Volga Pure Matte, the shade Boehmer used on the models in the campaign.
