In saddening celebrity news, Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were reportedly found shot to death in their Chicago home Friday afternoon.According to breaking reports, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said officials were dispatched to a South Side home where the bodies of a man and a woman were found, with police saying they believe the believe the shooting was a domestic incident
“Officers responded to a call of two people found unresponsive,” Chicago Police Department spokesman John Mirabelli told Us magazine. “They discovered a male and a female that had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.”
“Right now, our investigation is a double homicide,” the spokesman adds. “We understand family members are on the scene.”
Update: Talking to People magazine, Jennifer’s rep Lisa Kasteler said, “We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson. No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.”
Jennifer Hudson must really be going though it. My heart goes out to her and the rest of her family.
