Fashion: Nolcha Shows Amnesia SS'20

Amnesia was back again at Nolcha Shows showcasing their SS’20 collection which was fun, vibrant and had major athleisure pieces with style. The brand stayed true to its name branded on most of the collection with a sporty twist. Fun bold colors had a playful pop that was untouchable. Night time fun in gold and metallic dresses were a nice mix of fabrics. I wish there were more dresses in the collection because the designer Eva Prokai has a fantastic eye when it comes to showing off the curves of a woman’s body. And I wanted more of that. Hope to see what creative ideas she comes up with for next season!

Runway: Videmus Omnia at Nolcha Shows

This collection was very dark and had a strong Gothic vibe to it with Asian flavor. It was very dramatic, strong and bold. The collection was very unexpected not your typical designs so it had unique appeal for sure. I really enjoy the outerwear styles I thought it was extremely cool and different. The collection isn't for everyone and definitely not versatile. But it works for those that are into grunge and Gothic elements when it comes to dressing up.

Runway: Bennov F'W 19 at Nolcha Shows

Designer Bennov showcased a sophisticated collection at Nolcha Shows, very mature and classy. The designs were well made and offered beautiful pairings of fabric and color choices. The styles were perfect for business women or women looking to add true glamour to their 9-5 job. I would have liked some flash of color I think they would have given more appeal in making the designs more fresh and current.

 Designer Inspiration
All day long quiet and shuttle in the hustle and bustle of the city, in the boundaries of firm and soft, a moment of peace and rest is the gift of god. This fall/winter, BENNOV will combine hardness and softness in a surreal collision, inspired by the process of breaking and recombining, to explore the meaning of survival. In the exploration of all the inner, will restore ancient elegance and urban wind perfect combination. Elegant and comfortable there is no lack of bold creativity and sense of luxury.

When it comes to great fashion designers it's not just about the clothes and the fabric choices they use. It's really about how you see yourself in the garments that make it a fashion hit. Designer Eva Prokai behind the brand Amnesia proved that her clothes give women the option to be feminine, stylish and appealing in her designs. Her Spring/Summer'19 collection showcased at Nolcha Shows was fresh and wearable making it desirable on the runway. Even though the brands style is very trendy, you can easily rock their pieces with your signatures!

Runway: HAITHAIRAT at Nolcha Shows

Designer: HATHAIRAT
at NOLCHA SHOWS

The name Hathairat might be difficult to get on the first try (pronounced Hã-tie-rãt) but this designer  should be on your fashion radar. Not one to follow trends but a creator of true style is what makes her stand alone when it comes to wearable fashion. Her Spring/Summer'19 collection featured styles that were flowy, sophisticated and elegant to be paired casually or dressed up. The collection had a lot of signature confident pieces. I would have loved to see more designs on the runway.

Runway: VITRUVIUS at Nolcha Shows

 Designer: Virtruvius

It's another season of fashion week kick off and back on the runway at Nolcha Shows is designer/s Vitruvius A collective group of design students make this dynamic brand a true trendsetter! Last season I loved their collection so I was excited to see what creative elements would take the stage for Spring/Summer 19.

Once again they didn't disappoint with their dramatic appeal and strong attention to detail when it came to fabric choices. Each look was very theatrical and gave a strong costume vibe that was eye catching. Where they fell short for me was in the lack of vibrant colors in anyone one of their pieces just a splash would have been satisfying! Overall the collection was memorable, creative and well defined.

Runway: Vitruvius at NOLCHA

Designer: VITRUVIUS
AT NOLCHA

When it comes to true talent it doesn't matter the age of the designer it's all about the details that the artist/s displays when the model hits the runway. If the garment is grand the model that catwalks it will demand the audiences attention...and this speaks volumes. That night at Nolcha the collective student group behind the brand Vitruvius did exactly that. The creativity that these young designers put into their looks were beyond outside the box. The theme behind the collection was "Venetian Carnival" and they nailed it. I am excited to see what these future designers will make as their craft and passions grow even stronger in the fashion industry.
