Beauty: The Splurge Factor

 Regardless of  how many pink lipsticks we own, our overstock bins of dramatic mascaras or a variety selections of the perfect rosy blush, us women can't get enough when it comes to beauty. Another great orange shade is Jordana Cosmetics lipstick in Amber, I rock this a lot during the summer but it can go well with outfit shades brown, plum and of course black. This is a great budget option I think it’s under $2.

Dior has this gorgeous limited edition lipstick in Minuit a sparkling cool red which is a attention seeker for the holiday season. It’s a perfect match for gold's, winter whites and a red sparkle dress. The matte texture and soft-metallic finish will have you dipping in your clutch for $36. If you want a softer option that still pulls out a classic pout my cosmetics line offers a red/cranberry shade the Gala Lipstick called Bella. It’s creamy texture leaves lips smooth and the color is delicately embraced for a POW moment it’s yours for $11.

Glam it up with a beret in cream, royal blue or hunter green.

OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE COSMETICS Crème Colour Concentrate in Wicked is a amazing shade for the eyes, cheeks and lips. It can be worn naturally or more intense since it’s buildable in color. This brand is very unrated but it’s results are way above average, love it for $20.

Sugar Caviar Manicure $25

It seems the bead trend is still a favorite for the beauty mavens and now it’s all about adding a bit of sugar on top. The collection comes in three shades but if you plan on getting one go for Tutti Fritti a perfect coral shade for the summer.

Nail tips are becoming more flashy with more detailing within the design, these are a great weekend trend and it allows you to switch it up as often as you like.

If you have natural nails this is a lifesaver for making your nails glow and enhancing it’s perfect hue. The price tag for this is more than your average polish but it seems to be worth a try if you keep your nails freshly manicured with simple shades.

Not only is Valentine’s Day the perfect occasion for you to have a sexy style, your hair looking amazing and a beauty look that’s flawless. But your lingering scent is the most important attraction of the night to keep your beau embraced in you. Below are a few scents that give elements of flirty, sophistication, sultry and truly feminine.

 J'adore Eau de Parfum $90

This scent is gorgeous especially for a special evening, its very long lasting and you may just be tempting to rock this scent daily.

 

 Love Spell Body Butter $12

This body butter is great to indulge your skin in after your shower or bath, work this on your legs, the neckline and your arms. Great budget smell that really makes a statement.

I love rollerballs because their so easy to apply on the go especially when it’s a scent you love. This is so easy to dab as you do your sexy walk to the bathroom or when he’s offering a quick kiss goodnight. It’s a flirty fun scent and great for all women.

 Charlie White Eau De Toilette Spray  $13.69

This is a old scent but it’s a must have for a quick buy. You can get this at your local drugstore in so many small sizes for under $10. Spritz the aroma on your brush or comb, on the wrist and above the knee if rocking a short dress or mini skirt ; )

 Chanel No. 5 Bath Gel $50

This is my all time favorite scent, thanks to my mom. If you can’t afford the full fragrance the bath gel is at least one part of the collection that can do the trick. Use your normal favorite wash but apply this last and let it settle in for a full 5 minutes. Afterwards let the water clear the gel off and towel dab your skin. This will keep that sultry scent embedded and nourished in your skin.

 

 Prada Candy $62

This scent is perfect for a date night its very sultry and alive. Expect to rock a tote bag to keep this bottle on hand, the scent doesn’t last long but it does give that attraction so do refresh.

I hosted a beauty event with fellow beauty blogger SuperGlamNews at Neiman Marcus Paramus. The event is a series of many beauty brands that give females techniques in learning how to apply their makeup. At the Neiman Marcus beauty event we discussed basic beauty tips, we shared our favorite brands and products. Guests were able to get makeovers, consultations with Neiman Marcus Makeup Specialists and enjoy samples of our tops picks from Bobbi Brown and Dior.

A beauty maven can’t just be obsessed with looking good, we also enjoy delicious cupcakes as well with pretty sprinkles on top!

My top picks focused on looking glam for the spring and into the warm season. You need a great eye shadow to make your eyes pop, a bold colorful nail that’s playful, easy face powder that gives you a simple glow, a rich lipstick that’s nourishing, a gloss that glistens on a dull and glam day and a fabulous scent that lingers all day.
