Weekend Nails
AVON
nailwear pro
Color: Cotton Candy $3.49

A simple but elegant color that's perfect for the weekend! The color is a soft but girly pink that rock's during the day and the glam nights.

Applying 2-3 coats are best if you want to get a fuller pink look if not 2 coats work as well. Be prepared for many compliments many women loved this color they thought it looked very feminine.

I didn't have to touch up much with this polish, just remember give yourself plenty of time to dry so you won't have to red0. And the best things about this polish is it comes in many colors, it's super affordable which is a must and it's on sale for $3.49.
Fun colors you should also try are Viva Pink, Tangastic and Rave.
Special thanks to Lauren F. at Attention for the samples!

AVON
NAILWEAR PRO Nail Enamel
Color: Mulberry
$3.49

Avon's NailWear Pro polish goes on very smooth and has great shine effect after applied. The color is much darker than it appears on their site. It comes on as a gorgeous burgundy/cranberry shade.
The polish is on sale at $3.49 and originally cost $5.00 which is perfect for budget fashionista's. There's also a wide range of color options for the summer season from pink's, yellow's, blues and tons of shimmer shades as well. I am now a fan of this polish and it should definitely be on your radar!

NailWear Pro claims to last at least 10 days giving your nails long lasting wear with minor touch ups. We are rocking it for the weekend but check back on Monday when we review color Cotton Candy to see how long it holds up for our Nails Polish Of The Week feature.

Special thanks to Lauren F. and Ivana C. at Attention for the samples. I really enjoyed the polishes : )

Weekend Nails

Love Collection and Once Upon A Time Collection

$7.50

I am rocking a tan and cream dress this weekend so I wanted to do a duo on my nails but after applying I think Dream Boat could have worked alone.

Dream Boat is a great natural take over of your basic french mani look, it's simple but still has that fresh clean appeal. It's great for the weekday look and can look very glam with party dresses at night. Orly's Love Collection comes in 5 other shades ranging in colors like hot pink, pastel orange, sheer peach and baby pink. Prince Charming is a tan/brown mix also great looking with natural color mixes.

Weekend Nails
Sparitual
Orly Nail Lacquers
Colors: Take a Chance, Mind and Breathless

Okay, not sure what I was thinking doing three color schemes this week but oh well, I have to rock it out!

My nails look like chocolate chip cookies a bit, I was going for that simple frost white look than I added the color mind, it's a soft taupe with a no shine finished on the index and fourth finger. after that I decided to go crazy and mix it with Orly's Take a Chance brown shimmer.

And this is what happened my nails for the weekend are a bit confusing, I wonder what the reactions will be.

Weekend Nails
L.A Girls Matte Collection
Color: Matte Black

It's time to go for that all black theme this weekend, L.A Girl's Matte Collection in Matte Black is the chosen one for this weekend's social scene. I think having a black polish gives a glamorous effect if it compliments your outfit well.

The image below is L.A Girls Matte Collection without adding a top coat if you really like that roughness of the matte look these are the results. I also added a spin on mine by adding a sparkle of gold to liven the look up a bit. You can choose any color scheme if you want so get mini creative.

This image is with the top coat, it gives your basic shine if you feel like you need to step up the Matte trend to the next level.

Applying a good 2-3 coats of this black polish is very ideal if you want to get that jet black look. I love this collection because it's a great polish and its also a great budget trinket to have.

The L.A Girls Matte Collection comes in 16 shades for all your daily personalities and cost only $4 so you can buy each shade and be fabulous!

Special thanks to Sarah B. at L.A Girls for the samples!

Color:First Kiss

A simple look but a gorgeous color is what I was aiming for with Orly's Love Collection in First Kiss.

It's a soft pink that's not too sheer but has the perfect tint. For those of you chicas who love to wear french manis, or stay in the natural wave this color is up your alley. You can enjoy the fun of it and also have the classic look.

Orly's Love Collection comes in six shades: First Kiss, Butterflies (dark pink), Dream Boat (nude), Secret Admirer (peach), Crush On You (deep orange), My beau (cream). The nail lacquers are $7.50.

ORLY ’s Metallic Matte Collection

Color: Iron Butterfly

Since my last obsession over Orly's Foil Collection I had to try their Metallic Matte Collection because it's becoming the biggest trend. This charcoal black dazzles with shimmer accents to give you that limelight touch. It's perfect to liven up a all black outfit and a great fashion do for a night out with the girls.

I like the fact that the color is edgy, fashionable and fun. My only issue was by the third day the polish slowly chipped and I had to reapply. My reason for this is I personally used a bargained topcoat and basecoat so this may be why I couldn't get passed three days, so try investing in a quality top coat so that the polish is secured and last longer. Orly does make a Bonder $9 basecoat but I didn't use it so learn from my mistake.

Also you really don't need a topcoat when achieving for the Matte look Orly's Bonder basecoat $9 is enough but I like the extra shine so I added one coat on my nails.

I would recommend rocking Iron Butterfly as your weekend nail polish because you will be able to get your Fri-Sun glam style on! Than switch it up and be a trendsetter for your Mon-Thurs look. Other colors in the collection are Solid Gold: Metallic Matte Gold ,Glam Rock: Metallic Matte Copper.

Collection will be available beginning March 2010 for $7.50 each, check out other nail lacquer from Orly.

Special thanks to Danielle H. and Ilisa W. at LaForce+Stevens for the samples!
