DK down to three now. Yes ladies and gents I was at the making the band finale last night and I must say it was tense. All the girls looked lovely of course except for one (Dwoods) she wasn't there due to another gig. Apparently I thought making the band had gotten fake and thought that from watching last weeks episode that it was just a front about them breaking up. I was right in front of them and the cameras and it is real people. Aubrey and Dwoods are officially out the group(as of now). Puff said they still have decisions to make but as of right now its just the three Shannon Andrea and Dawn. This is exactly why I can't do groups if I was into singing, too many personal problems. I must say I was really shocked, I think Diddy put a really good group together and to just break them up like this would not be smart. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the future holds. Now honestly if the girls try and branch out on their own it will not be a good look. They can try , but I don't think they are that experienced enough to try it. They have only been out for a short period time so I suggest work it out if they want to stay in the business. On a better note the boys Day 26 and Donnie Klang were all looking sexy of course. Donnie Klang may not be the best singer, but he looks will definitely get him far. Its good to see that the fame did not get to his head. I'm hoping that my girls DK get it together and work out their internal issues.

July 4th is just a day away and the partying begins tonight. Everyone knows that when Independence day comes around Hampton's is the hottest place to be. Tonight it begins with a pre event at the White House. Then tomorrow the main event what everyone has been waiting for. Puff Daddy's(formally known as Diddy) very own official all white affair brought to you by Bad Boy entertainment. Special appearances including Danity Kane's DWood's and Aubrey, Donnie J, Young Joc, Cherri Dennis, DJ Enuf, Ryan Leslie, and Wyclef. Tickets are $25 but are subject to change after midnight. There is no guest list it really depends on who you know so I advise for you to arrive there early in style. Keep in mind the Hampton's is always a celebrity location and its a very big weekend as well. Hope to see you there!

Just in case you didn't know already... Making the Band 4's all male group named Day 26 album is out in stores today. It's almost as strange/random as "Danity Kane" is as a name, but I think it will grow on us. Apparently the competition is still on to see who will sell the most albums. We all know Danity Kane's album debuted last week the # 1 album in the country. Lets see if the guys can bring theirs to the top as well. Aside from their albums, the real question is "where has Donnie gone"?

Other than a couple makeout sessions with Aubrey O’Day and even less time in the studio, Donnie, now known as "Donnie J," has released a few tracks through his MySpace page. While I expected more of a pop vibe from Donnie and an R&B vibe from Day26, it looks like I'm hearing the reversal of my expectations. Donnie's tracks have a pop sound, but are more distinctly R&B/Soul, which is a better genre for him (and Day 26, as well). There are only few male artists in the music industry today that can pull off pop music- Justin Timberlake and Mika come to mind. That being said, I think R&B would be a safer route for both male artists.
