Christina Aguilera wears NARS makeup

at the 67th Golden Globe Awards





“I wanted to create a soft natural look on Christina to compliment her gown and new haircut,” said Kristofer Buckle for NARS Cosmetics. “Her dress choice was a beautiful pastel peach with silver. I didn’t want the look to fight with her gown. The final look is chic and seamless, with a earthy colored smokey eye and glowing skin.”



Below is Kristofer’s step-by-step to recreate Christina’s look:



Complexion:

· Use the Balancing Moisture Lotion and apply the Makeup Primer as a base

· Apply Firming Foundation and set with Pressed Powder



Eyes:

· Apply the vanilla side of India Song Duo Eyeshadow as a base, over the entire lid and up to eyebrow

· Next, use the shimmering walnut shade of India Song Duo Eyeshadow and apply to the outer corner and under the bottom lash line

· Then, use the warm rich brown side of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow just under eye rubbing into the lower lash line to create smokey eye

· Curl the eyelashes and apply a coat of Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara to top and bottom lashes, following with 2 coats of Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara for full lashes

· Take Nuits Blanches Eyeliner Stylo and dot in between individual lashes [Kristofer’s tip:“I used the Push Eyeliner Brush to blend the eyeliner in between the lashes, which helped to apply just enough without looking to heavy.”]



Lips:

· Use the Fantasia Lipliner Pencil and Niagara Lipstick

· Next, apply Easy Lover Lip Gloss (NEW for Spring 2010) over [Kristofer’s tip:“Applying a sheer pink gloss on top of a nude colored lip provides a nice modern pop of color.”]



Cheeks:

· Generously apply Orgasm Illuminator (NEW for Spring 2010) to cheekbones, décolletage, and shoulders for an all over glow

· Use Malaysia Multiple Bronzer to contour cheeks by blending under cheekbones

· Apply the Mata Hari Blush to the apple of cheeks and lightly tap on browbone [Kristoper’s tip: “Lightly dusting a blush on the browbone gives life to the eye and melds the whole look together.”]

· Next, with short, back and forth quick strokes use Nico Blush to highlight cheekbones

6.) Way too Skinny jeans - We all know about skinny jeans. Made fabulous by Christina Aguilera and Carmen Electra. Supposedly the new style is boyfriend jeans. You know the baggy jeans always seen on Katie Holmes. Personally, You should get jeans that fit your body type. Who cares what the fashion gods say! If straight legs make you look fab, than get them! If bootcut are divine on your behind, get them! If High waisted are genius on your figure than buy it!
5.)Is purple out?_ I never thought I would see the day when a color was out. Well according to E!online, purple is died! Ok, relax all my purple lovers! You can not kill a color. You can over use it but not kill it! Purple is fab but don't forget all of the other colors in your palette!

4.) Big white sunglasses- I was never a huge fan of this fad! It is so 80's! Don't get me wrong, I love the eighties! I love the Rubik's cube, the movie Flashdance, and Versace! I do not like Big white sunglasses. Paris Hilton and Kanye West are know for this look!
3.)Too many necklaces- Too much is always too much! If you like the Mr. T look, than do it! Personally, one good piece is enough. One great necklace, one great ring, one great pair of earrings are priceless. I like to wear a nice necklace and a great pair of earrings. I am not a ring person. Blake Lively of Gossip Girls was sporting this fad to the fullest !

AMA'S Was Rocking!

Christina Aguilera was the opening act. In the span of five minutes, Aguilera hits on pieces of "Beautiful," "Fighter," "Genie in a Bottle" , "Ain't No Other Man" and "Keeps Getting Better," swapping back and forth between hats. Opening with the ballad allowed Aguilera to flex her vocal muscles


Beyonce Knowles showed us why she's a true diva at American Music Awards. She performed the hell out of “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” - I got a little nervous for her at one point, because I was afraid her goodies would have popped out.
Always on top of the fashion game, showed off her curvaceous figure as she performedfor the crowd. I must say she rocked the stage.

Ne-yo definitely hit the stage pure gentlemen style. Ne-Yo had legs flying all around him during his performance

Natasha Bedingfield performed “Soul mate,”(one of my favorite songs) “Unwritten,” & “Pocketful of Sunshine” . She was phenomal, her voice is really wonderful.

My diva Mariah Carey looked super duper cute in a form fitted gown during her “I Stay in Love” performance.

Taylor swift sounded charming

Like always these two lovers went home with many trophies last night. Brown took the prize in 3 categories- Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Soul/ R&B Male Artist, and Artist of the Year. Rihanna went two for two, winning both the Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist. Although her performance wasn't all that and a bag of pringles we should all know by know that she's not that much of a performer, but who cares it's still RIHANNA!. We'll let our girl Beyonce take all the performance heat.



Alicia Keys is always known for great performance surprises. Alicia keys teamed up with Queen Latifah and Kathleen Battle to perform her hit single “Superwoman”.

Kayne west great. Hitting the stage all by himself singing his new hit "Heartless" Truly a good song and a powerful one I might add.

With the upcoming Presidential Election less than two months off, celebrities are pulling out all the stops to support their favorite candidate. And last night Christina Aguilera hosted a massive “Rock the Vote” shindig. Christina looking extra fabulous with her hot pink lips and black dress with a matching black jacket and knee high black leather boots. Although she could've toned it down with the eye makeup and I wish she'd go back to black hair. Everyone knows that darker hair is in for the fall season and it also when you go darker it always makes your hair look healthier. Overall Christina looks great and I can't wait for her album.

Later this fall, Christina will be releasing her greatest hits album Keeps Getting Better. A Decade of Hits exclusively through Target stores. Hitting shelves November 11Th.

OK, My take of the MTV awards was -----It was wack! Wack, Wack, Wack! Britney Spears won 3 moonmen for her song piece of me. OK, I know she went through a lot but did Britney really deserve all these moonmen for Piece of Me? Oh yeah, did Birtney forget to get how to use the mic? That looked crazy! I will say that she looked great.

The host Russell Bland -- of I mean Brand hosted the event and he was not funny at all. He was the wackiest part of the show. Next Time MTV, get Chris Rock or Dave Chappelle to do it.This will be a great comeback for Dave Chappelle. I will say that I love when Jordin spark told him off. Rusell brand was dissing Jonas brothers and the other promise ring gang. Then Jordin Sparks said "Not everyone wants to be a slut!" The whole audience was applauding. Afterward, a Brand apologized kind of to Jonas Brothers, saying, “I didn't mean to take it lightly” before adding, “a little sex once and a while never hurt anybody.” What type of wack apology was that!

Most disappointing performance of the night goes to Christina Aguilera. You may say that I am crazy but I think she was. Christina is a songtress. This girl can blow (sing very well) and she lip synched (badly) throughout her entire performance. What was up with that? Christina stick with being you and not like the rest of these "singers" out now. I did not like the cat woman outfit on. I am not feeling that at all. The runner up for the most disappointing performance goes to Rihanna. The costumes was great, the choreography was great but her singing was horrible. Someone get her some vocal lessons asap. I love Rihanna and her style is fierce but her vocals need some help. I know that she is not a song bird but damn! Get it together !

Despite the fact that Christina was pregnant at the time, that was not a problem for her to do these photos.

Christina Aguilera has been named the new face of Stephen Webster Jewelry. The ads are Alfred Hitchcock-inspired, and they will appear in the April issue of W Magazine. Christina totally rocks the old hollywood look, she does it better than anyone else! To me she's always been someone who can sometimes, with the help of skilled makeup artists, pull off the pretense of beauty, without actually possessing it. You can really focus on her jewelry (which is what they're trying to sell). She looks gorgeous and I can't wait for her to get in that studio and start making music. I really liked her last cd, and I credit her for not only having talent, but pushing herself and doing something different than the rest of the flock. She takes chances, and as a result, grows.
