The Gloved One

It's a sad moment in everyone's life since hearing the news about Michael Jackson passing away.

I heard the news and I was shocked by it. TMZ first broke the story but other news channels didn't have the final news until one hour later so I had some sense of hope. Unfortunately that feeling slowly faded once it was confirmed that he did died.

Michael Jackson for me was a true icon, an amazing talent, a performer, the greatest artist and songwriter of our time. He despite critical bashing and very bad publicity was unforgettable. Every song that Michael did was remarkable and memorable because he lived for his music and you could feel that in his words.

I have always been a fan of Michael Jackson because I loved his artistic ability, his music, his style and his persona. I grew up listening to his music and enjoying what he created, trying to get his dance moves down and feel what he put into his craft. I watched his videos and enjoyed getting a real creative sense on the way his mind could think so out the box. Something that is truly lacked in the quality of music videos today. It's such a sad feeling that I continue to get when I think about it being the end of many generations of Michael.

I watched the news channels last night because I just couldn't believe that he was really gone. As I watched these networks I realized that they don't respect him as an artist because they continue to talk about the negativity that surrounded him. Let's remember him for his talent and his music, he is gone and there will be no other Michael Jackson. They will try but there was only one so let's give the man respect and enjoy his life as a legend.

Will You Buy it?

Paris Hilton is coming out with her next fragrance called "Siren". When you hear that word you think red, fire, sultry and exotic or maybe it's just me. But Paris' ads are more of a mermaid theme?

Siren is all about being sexy in a playful way. I feel irresistible as a mermaid,” Paris explains. “What girl doesn’t want to have fun being a fantasy creature that men can’t resist?”

I guess if it smells good it will be worth it.

Hair Breakage

Our hair is one of a woman's best features and keeping the hair looking healthy is a must. With all of the sun exposure, curling irons, flat irons, perms and dyes our hair needs the best TLC to avoid breakage.

Smooth 'N' Shine Therapy- Leave in treatment helps build the hair back to a healthier state from all the over processing we women use. With ingredients like lipopeptides, coconut oil and wheat protein the leave in treatment helps reduce breakage.
Another great product to have on hand is the Nourishing Balm. It helps conditions and moistrized the scalp when it's very dry, using this twice a week is so good on the hair. The balm makes the roots stronger and the scent is appealing too. Try not to use a large amount it will have a greasy look if you over apply. Also try the Oil Sheen spray it helps with untangling the hair and provides enough conditioning when applied from root to tip.

Who's the new Destiny's Child

Beyonce is bringing her tour to the U.S. and her opening act is a girl group called "Rich Girl". The most noticeably thing about the girl group is that one singer resembles Beyonce, another Kelly and Nicole from the PCD. Not sure if their style is a bit of both but their copy-cat ways doesn't make them stand out. All ladies are beautiful and have that sex appeal, their voices seem to be on point as well. But does their image stand alone and does their music scream want. You be the judge.
